Electrolysis: Post Treatment Recommendations

What should I avoid and use after Electrolysis.  Post Treatment Recommendations from Kristine Horvath.

Avoid:

• Touching or scratching the treated area
• Soap, makeup, oily substances, perfumed or alcohol based products for 24 hours
• Rubbing of the treated area
• UV exposure at least 24 hours before and 48 hours after
• Hot baths, saunas
• The use of antiperspirant for the next 48 hours

Apply:

• If edema apply ice or cold compresses
• Sanitizer (without alcohol) for the next 24 hrs
• Soothing moisturizing lotion to the treated area
• Sunscreen
• Exfoliate once redness disappears
• Have a warm Epsom salt bath if having body work done
